Peter I is a brand of cigarettes. The cigarettes are produced by the largest and the most advanced tobacco factory JTI in Europe. In Russia, they are produced by the Petersburg factory "P.J.P.-Petro (that is the former Uritsky factory).
Peter I was successfully manufactured and marketed in 1995. The cigarettes Peter I are the first Russian cigarettes produced according to the international standards for product quality.
In 1996, the factory began producing another version of Peter I - Peter Lights. This version was the first Russian cigarette, which contained a low level of tar and nicotine. According to the statistics data, sales of the cigarettes were increased to one-third within more than the first year.
Now Peter I is already the leader on the Russian market of domestic cigarettes. And both light and regular Peter I cigarettes were on the top of the list, which included goods, sold in the country. It should be noted that this very list included only the available Russian brands.
There were also introduced other versions of the cigarettes such as: Peter I Box Cigarettes, Peter I Lights N8 Box Cigarettes, Peter I Mild N10 Box Cigarettes, Peter I N12 Box Cigarettes, and Peter I Super Lights N4 Box Cigarettes.
